Discussion question 1

"Clusters  (are) critical  masses -  in one  place -  of unusual  competitive success  in particular fields.  (...)  Clusters  are  geographic  concentrations  of  interconnected  companies  and institutions in  a particular field. Clusters encompass  an array  of linked  industries and other entities important to competition".

Can we have some opinions or feedbacks on the above statement?

  1. It is basically similar type of companies coming together showcasing particular product for instance Information Technology, Communications, Medications etc.

    1. Yes, it is true but not necessarily showcasing. It is a conscious effort to be in one location for ease of governance, infrastructure and proximity to receive raw materials.
